My Three-Day Photography Challenge starts on Friday!

As mentioned in my first post, I began Lilim’s Light with the intention of sharing a bit of the ‘special’ that fills our days. That goes beyond offering photography services; it’s about empowering you with the skills to capture your own magical moments.

Photography is more accessible than ever.

This photo was taken with my OnePlus smart phone in Summer 2025— stunning colors and crisp detail no longer require a special camera.

You don’t need expensive equipment to create stunning images; Smart phones rival cameras that cost thousands of dollars just a few years ago. Movies have even been filmed using iPhones!

Starting this Friday, I’m launching my first Three-Day Photo Challenge focused on a fundamental rule of photography: The Rule of Thirds.

Together we will explore why The Rule of Third works, how to use it, and (my favorite!) when to break it.
